HOLIDAYS STILL- SUMMER KEEP GOING - SOMETHING TO READ -WITH PRAY- August 06-2023

HERE IS A BEAUTIFUL PRAY FROM KING DAVID WHICH TEACHES US HOW TO APPROACH IN PRAYING TO OUR LORD GOD, LET'S ENJOY IT AND IN A HUMBLE WAY GIVE THE GLORY TO HIM.
King David from Psalm 86:11-13:
"Teach me your way, Lord,
that I may rely on your faithfulness;
give me an undivided heart,
that I may fear your name.
I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart;
I will glorify your name forever.
For great is your love toward me;
you have delivered me from the depths,
from the realm of the dead."
This prayer beautifully expresses a heartfelt desire to know and follow God's ways, to have unwavering loyalty to Him, and to praise and glorify His name. Let us pray:
"Gracious and loving God, I come before you with a humble heart, seeking your guidance, wisdom, and understanding. Lord, teach me your ways and help me to rely on your unfailing faithfulness. Grant me an undivided heart, that I may truly reverence and fear your holy name.
I praise you, Lord, my God, from the depths of my being, with all I am. I magnify your name and declare your glory forever. In your abundant love, you have rescued me from the darkness and brought me into the light of your salvation.
Lord, I ask that you continue to be my guide and protector, leading me on the path of righteousness. Help me to trust in your word and to walk in obedience to your commands. May I always seek after your wisdom and live in a way that brings honour to your name.
